takhta-o-taj ke safar mein...
takhto taaj ke safar mein, dushman baithe hai,
sone ki chaadar odhe durjan baithe hai. heeron ke aaine mein dhundhe hai khudko, nazrein utha ke dekh samne maut ke darpan baithe hai. imaartein hai unchi, unche mahal hai, sange mar mar ki deewarein farsh makhmal hai. heere moti jade hai, fir bhi bhukhe dhar hai, lobh k baadal mein vish k saawan baithe hai. bachpan mein jo aag lagi, budhape mein bhi bujhi nahi, dhan sampatti ki jo lalsa thi, barson baad bhi hai wahi. aur chahiye, aur chahiye, bahot kam hai mere paas abhi. ab toh sambhal ja, intzaar mein tere jalte chandan baithe hai. bhukhe daridra ko pet bharne ke liye do roti chahiye, woh mil jaye toh gadi bangla heere moti chahiye. par tujhe kya pataa marne k liye bas yam ki chunouti chahiye. 'sushil' keh de kuch nahi chahiye, kyoki yam toh tere aangan baithe.
